Hi there. My name is Kristin. My love for photography started at a very young age. I have been taking photographs since age 4 when I was given my first camera. I've always loved all things art. I grew up in a creative household where I got to explore my creativity in many ways, through drawing, painting, crafts, taking photos, music, etc. Cameras and photography always fascinated me. It amazed me at how I was able to capture a memory in just one click and can look back at it to remember those moments from that point on. How one object could recreate what I saw in so much detail.
My mom always told me to make sure that I do something I love, to make it a career, so that I can enjoy going to work every day and never regret it. To never settle, to go for it and never give up. That one day you'll get there with hard work and it will be all worth it. This was my dream career and I'm very determined and dedicated to make it happen. I have a real passion for photography and enjoy what I do. I love to capture emotions, the special moments, and people's personalities. I love capturing moments that cannot be repeated or captured over again. The world and what it has to offer intrigues me and my photographs show that.
Starting in middle school, my neighbor gave me a copy of Photoshop Elements and that started my addiction to Photoshop, playing with it, learning all there was about what it could do, creating new things and using it to edit my photographs. I've taken photography and graphic design classes in high school. I went forward with it to college and graduated from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor Degree in Fine Art, concentration in Graphic Art and Photography. I have worked for studios and an in-hospital newborn photog companies, along with currently paired up with a wedding photography companies for the past 10 years.
I have been photographing professionally since fall 2010 and could not imagine doing anything else with my life. All these years later and I still feel so blessed to be doing what i enjoy so much.
